The Governance of Christel House

CHSA is a registered non-governmental organisation incorporated under Section 21, and governed by a Board of Directors, whose current chairperson is Elspeth Donovan.

It is affiliated with Christel House International (CHI), located in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, through a Trademark License Agreement, which establishes operational parameters and financially supports the general and administrative overheads of CHSA and its sister organisations around the world. CHI provides financial and administrative systems and oversight for each learning centre.

CHSA complies with requirements set out in CHI’s Policy and Operational Manual; all students and staff are expected to demonstrate and adhere to the Christel House values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity and Independence.

The Board meets three times annually to review the organisation’s activities, and monthly reports are submitted to all board members and CHI. The Audit Committee of the Board meets at least twice per year to fulfil King 111 requirements.
