Health and wellness

Being healthy and well-nourished is a basic pre-requisite to learning and a better quality of life. CHSA provides a solid foundation for nutrition by serving two healthy meals and two snacks daily. For many of the learners, this will be their only nourishment. In addition, each child also receives medical and dental checkups, hearing and vision screenings, immunisations in accordance with World Health Organisation standards and further medical treatments as required at the school’s clinic.

To help CHSA children who have experienced traumatic events like violence, abandonment, bereavement and abuse,  children receive counselling and group therapy from  both the junior and high school social workers.
