CHAMPIONS OF INDUSTRY SUPPORT CHSA Captains of Industry from UK, USA and SA visited CHSA on the 09 November for the groundbreaking ceremony to launch construction of a new learning center facility. Generous donations were received from many in attendance, including Club Leisure Group, a vacation club headquartered in Durban, Sven Thiele, CEO of London to Paris cycle ride. Top SA business women, Hawa Bibi Khan, Managing Director of Merit Asset Managers, publicly announced her commitment to equal or exceed the donation from Club Leisure Group before the end 2008. All of 200 guests toured communities where our children live and spent valuable time in our classroom. It was clear from those in attendance that SA businesses are starting to take ownership for youth development in South Africa, realising that we cannot only rely on foreign investment to bring about positive change in our communities.
