Teaching Staff
Our teaching faculty is a committed, dedicated team who are sensitive to the needs of the children here. Highly qualified, trained and experienced, the teachers are devoted to the mission of Christel House. As most students have a difficult home environment, teachers also offer pastoral care, and provide remedial tutoring when children need extra help. We have specialist teachers in Art, Music, Computer Science and Physical Education, as these subjects are also integral to enhancing the children’s overall development. Our dedicated Social Workers address the social service needs of children and their families and our Registered Nurse monitors our children’s health and works with families to improve living conditions in their homes.
